28/06/09 - JCA 25M TT Champs

Sunday’s JCA 25 Mile Time Trial Championships were blessed with almost perfect weather conditions as CCC’s Robin Ovenden took the overall honors and Gold Medal in the senior’s with a super time of 55:49, pushing Velo Sport’s Vince Peron into the Silver Medal position with a time of 58:11. Adam Wojtkewicz took the Bronze medal clocking a 58:15.

In the Veterans category a mere 48 seconds separate Gold, Silver and Bronze with Mark Nish (1:00:08), Mike Harris (1:00:45) and Kevin Pilley (1:00:56) taking the top 3 positions respectfully.

CCC’s Sarah Henderson took Gold in the Ladies with a time of 1:08:04 narrowly beating Velo Sport’s Susan Williams by 41 seconds. Jo Le Cocq swept the Bronze medal in a time of 1:09:31. Birthday boy Sam Carney celebrated his 17th with a time of 1:10:22 as the only Junior on the day, well done Sam.
