The Velo Sport committee is made up of volunteers who service on a year to year basis. Each Officer is proposed and seconded at the Annual General Meeting in January.
The roles of the committee are broad and varying but include tasks from; management of the race calendar in conjunction with Jersey Cycling (the JCA), management of the marshalling rota and coordination, management of funds both in and out of the club, to projects such as management of the Town Criteriums or logistical management and supply of the club team clothing.
We also manage social events such as the annual dinner, the summer BBQ and various other events to help raise money for the funding of the club and is racing endeavours both on and off the Island.
The roles are carried out in good faith and there is a great team feeling in the various committees within the overall management committee structure.
